Bangladesh 'A'-Pakistan Shaheens Match Abandoned Due to Rain in Islamabad, Hosts Win Series
Both the Bangladesh national cricket team and the Bangladesh 'A' team were scheduled to play on the same day in two Pakistani cities, Rawalpindi and Islamabad. However, due to rain, the first day's play of the second Test between Bangladesh and Pakistan was washed out, and the third and final ODI match between Bangladesh 'A' and Pakistan Shaheens was also abandoned.
In the first ODI on August 26 at the Islamabad Club Ground, Bangladesh 'A' was thoroughly outplayed. The team was bowled out for 183 runs and suffered an 8-wicket defeat.
The second match on August 28 was washed out due to rain, and the final match on August 30 met the same fate. As a result, Pakistan Shaheens won the 3-match series 1-0.
