Mustafizur Rahman and Towhid Hridoy to Play for the Same Team in LPL
The 5th edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) is set to commence on July 1 in Kandy, Dambulla, and Colombo. Five teams will participate in this year's tournament, with Bangladeshi players featured in only two teams.
Mustafizur Rahman and Towhid Hridoy will represent the Dambulla Sixers, which has multiple Bangladeshi players.
Today (June 25), Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced the full squads of the five franchises. The Dambulla Sixers squad includes 23 cricketers.
Besides Mustafizur Rahman and Towhid Hridoy, notable foreign players in the team are Mohammad Nabi and Ibrahim Zadran from Afghanistan, Riza Hendricks from South Africa, and Mark Chapman from New Zealand.
