Venue Changed for Bangladesh-India Match
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced changes today (August 13) to their 2024-25 home season schedule, which includes a change in the venue for the Bangladesh-India match.
The first T20I between Bangladesh and India, originally scheduled to take place in Dharamshala on October 6, will now be held in Gwalior. The Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association will be renovating the dressing rooms at the Dharamshala Stadium during this time.
This match between Bangladesh and India will be the first international match at Gwalior’s new stadium, the Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium.
Additionally, the venues for the first and second T20Is between India and England have been changed. The first T20I, initially set to take place in Chennai, will now be the second T20I, while the second T20I, originally scheduled for Kolkata, will now be the first. The match dates will remain the same.
