After losing three wickets on the first day and another three in the first session of the fourth day, Muminul Haque provided some relief for Bangladesh with a century, helping the team surpass the 200-run mark before lunch. However, upon resuming, Bangladesh quickly lost the remaining four wickets, eventually being all out for 233 runs in their first innings. Muminul remained unbeaten on 107 runs.
