Bangladesh has no complaints about Sylhet's pitch
Bangladesh witnessed their fourth highest defeat by runs against Sri Lanka in the Sylhet Test. Since 1986, no team has conceded all 20 wickets in a single Test match, only pacers have achieved this. Kasun Rajitha and Vishwa Fernando added Bangladesh to the list of embarrassment with their record. Reflecting on the entire match, Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto stated, "A loss means a loss. We have admitted that this match has been disappointing for us. We want to utilize what we have learned from the Sylhet Test in the next assignment." He mentioned that the pitch behaved as expected, and there were no complaints from Bangladesh's side.
Despite Mominul's efforts, Bangladesh suffered a defeat by 328 runs in the Sylhet Test. Although the team faced defeat, the new captain, Najmul Hossain Shanto, expressed that they have learned a lot from this match. He hopes for better performance in the next match, stating, "Every match teaches us a lot. What mistakes we made, what was right - there is learning in it. This experience will be useful in the future."
Shanto emphasized the importance of motivation after a loss, saying, "I don't want to play safe cricket as captain. I will play to win the next match and plan accordingly." He further added, "I don't want to play safe cricket as a captain. I will play to win the next match and plan accordingly."
Regarding the pitch, Shanto commented, "The pitch was as expected. Everything was in our favor. So, there are no complaints about the pitch."
