Bangladesh Opt to Field After Winning the Toss: Zakir In, Sohan Out

Bangladesh captain Liton Kumar Das has decided to bowl first after winning the toss against Ireland. The Tigers are taking the field with a strong XI featuring three pacers and two spinners.

In the first T20I in Chattogram, openers Tanzid Tamim and Parvez Hossain Emon are in the lineup, along with vice-captain Saif Hassan. Towhid Hridoy, who was dropped in the previous match, has been given another opportunity against Ireland. Nurul Hasan Sohan has been left out.

Out-of-form Zakir Ali Anik is also included in the playing XI. The spin department features Rishad Hossain and Nasum Ahmed, while Sheikh Mahedi misses out.

Pacers Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, and Tanzim Hasan Sakib are part of the XI.

Newly called-up players Mahidul Islam Ankon and Mohammad Saifuddin have not been included in the playing XI.
