Bangladesh to Tour Pakistan for Five-Match T20I Series as Scheduled

According to a report from Cricket Pakistan (cricketpakistan.com.pk), Bangladesh’s planned five-match T20I series in Pakistan will go ahead as scheduled. The Bangladesh team is expected to travel to Pakistan on May 21, following the conclusion of their two-match T20I series against the United Arab Emirates in Sharjah.

The tour, slated for this month, has been under discussion due to concerns surrounding security arrangements in Pakistan. Prior to their arrival in Pakistan, Bangladesh will play two T20Is in Sharjah as part of their preparation.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has been in ongoing communication with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to finalize arrangements, placing the highest priority on the safety of players and support staff. Despite recent rumors of a possible delay or cancellation, the tour will proceed on its original schedule, as reported by leading Pakistani media outlets.
