BCB Congratulates Aminul Haque on Appointment as State Minister for Youth and Sports
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has congratulated Md. Aminul Haque on his appointment as the State Minister for the Ministry of Youth and Sports. In a media release sent from Dhaka on Tuesday (February 17), the board conveyed its best wishes.
In the statement, the BCB said that Aminul Haque’s leadership and contribution to the country’s sporting arena have inspired a generation. As a former captain of the national football team, his experience and leadership are expected to have a positive impact on national sports administration.
BCB President Md. Aminul Islam, in a statement, described the appointment of a distinguished sportsperson as State Minister for Youth and Sports as a significant step for Bangladesh. Having proudly led the national football team, Aminul Haque understands firsthand the realities, challenges, and aspirations of athletes. He expressed confidence that Aminul’s sporting experience would contribute positively to the development of various sports disciplines in the country.
The BCB also reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with the new State Minister and the Ministry of Youth and Sports to promote and strengthen sports at all levels and to expand opportunities for athletes across Bangladesh.
