NCL 2025 Schedule Announced, Mymensingh Division to Make Debut
The Bangladesh Cricket Board’s (BCB) Tournament Committee has announced the schedule for the 27th edition of the National Cricket League (NCL), the country’s premier first-class competition. The four-day tournament is set to begin on October 25.
In preparation for the upcoming international red-ball series, the BCB has introduced a few special changes to this season’s NCL. On the recommendation of the Cricket Operations Department, Kookaburra balls will be used in the first two rounds, while the remaining rounds will be played with Dukes balls.
In a major development, Mymensingh Division will participate in the NCL’s four-day format for the first time, following a decision made during the BCB’s 20th board meeting held on August 9, 2025. As a result, Dhaka Metropolis will not feature in this year’s competition.
