New Pakistan Team Finally Wins
After suffering heavy defeats in the first two matches of the series against New Zealand, the new Pakistan team found their first victory. The hero of Pakistan's triumph was opening batsman Hassan Nawaz, who scored his maiden century in international cricket.
Despite two ducks in his debut matches, Hassan made a remarkable comeback in the third match. Not only did he get some runs, but he also smashed a record-breaking century. Breaking Babar Azam's record, Hassan Nawaz now holds the record for the fastest T20I century for Pakistan, reaching the milestone in just 44 balls. He scored an impressive 105 runs off 45 balls, leading his team to victory and subsequently earned the title of 'Player of the Match.'
In Auckland, New Zealand batted first and posted a total of 204 runs. The highest contribution came from Mark Chapman, who scored 94 runs. In response, Pakistan comfortably chased down the target, losing only one wicket. Along with Hassan Nawaz's century, Pakistan's captain, Salman Agha, also scored a half-century to contribute to the win.
