The Odommo Bangladesh T20 Cup 2026, featuring the country’s top T20 cricketers, is set to begin in February. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the tournament on Saturday through a press release.
The competition will feature three teams, with total prize money and match fees amounting to Tk 25 million. The participating teams are Dhumketu XI, Durbar XI, and Duronto XI. Bangladesh T20 captain Litton Kumar Das will lead Dhumketu XI, Najmul Hossain Shanto will captain Durbar XI, while Akbar Ali will be in charge of Duronto XI.
Mohammad Salauddin will serve as head coach of Dhumketu XI, assisted by Mohammad Ashraful. Durbar XI’s coaching panel includes head coach Mizanur Rahman Babul and assistant coach Tushar Imran. Hannan Sarkar will take charge as head coach of Duronto XI, with Rajin Saleh Alam as his assistant.
The tournament will introduce the Impact Player rule for the first time, a move the BCB believes will add greater tactical variety to the matches.
All matches will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka. The match days are scheduled for 5, 6 and 7 February, with the final to be held on 9 February.
To enhance the match-day experience, cultural programmes will be held daily from 4:00 pm, followed by the cricket action starting at 6:00 pm. Ticket prices have been set between Tk 100 and Tk 1,000.
