Pakistan Super League 2025: Schedule Announced, Bangladesh Players in Action
The 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to kick off with a thrilling opening match on April 11, where reigning champions Islamabad United will face Lahore Qalandars in Rawalpindi. The tournament will run from April 11 to May 18, with the final scheduled to take place at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium on May 18.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially released the schedule for the 10th season of PSL. This year's PSL will feature a total of 34 matches, which will be played in Rawalpindi, Karachi, Multan, and Lahore. Notably, three Bangladeshi cricketers – Liton Das (Karachi Kings), Rishad Hossain (Lahore Qalandars), and Nahid Rana (Peshawar Zalmi) – were selected in the player draft for this season.
The opening match will see defending champions Islamabad United take on the two-time champions Lahore Qalandars. The tournament's biggest action will take place at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, where a total of 13 matches will be played, including two playoff matches and the final. Rawalpindi will host 11 matches, including the opening match and the first qualifier. Karachi and Multan will each host five matches.
With the stakes high and top-tier players participating, PSL 2025 is expected to deliver plenty of excitement for cricket fans across the globe.
