South Africa secured a dramatic two-wicket victory over Pakistan at SuperSport Park, Centurion, earning them the first spot in the final of the 2025 ICC World Test Championship, set to take place at Lord's. Temba Bavuma's side reached the final with an incredible win, defeating Pakistan by two wickets.
In Centurion, after overcoming Pakistan, South Africa booked their place in the World Test Championship final, which will be held in June at Lord's. The brilliant partnership between Kagiso Rabada and Marco Jansen turned the match in South Africa's favor, as they managed to defeat Pakistan against all odds.
At one point, South Africa seemed on the verge of defeat at home, with just 99 runs and 8 wickets down. However, Rabada and Jansen fought back valiantly, putting together a match-winning 51-run partnership. This partnership secured the win and helped South Africa qualify for the World Test Championship final.
South Africa has now made it to their first-ever World Test Championship final, where they will face either India, Australia, or Sri Lanka for the ultimate showdown.
