Special Eid Gifts for Cricketers from BCB, Taskin Expresses Gratitude

Ahead of Eid, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has once again sent special gifts for the national team cricketers. Despite the team’s busy schedule, the gifts were delivered to the team hotel to share the joy of the festival with the players. Like last year, the board continued the initiative this Eid as well.

After receiving the Eid gift, national team pacer Taskin Ahmed expressed his gratitude. In a video message posted on his social media page, he thanked the BCB for the thoughtful gesture.

The gift box sent by the BCB was attractively arranged. It included a Kabli outfit for the players, clothes for their wives, and chocolates for the children of those who have kids. Showing the gifts in the video, Taskin shared his feelings and said,

“What a beautiful gift! These are for the family—for those of us who have kids (chocolates). This one is for me, a very nice Kabli. And this one is for my wife (clothes). I’m very happy and truly appreciate it because out of the 365 days in a year, maybe we spend around 265 days with the team. This is also my family. Very special, very happy.”

Team manager Nafis Iqbal believes that such initiatives help strengthen the bond between the board and the players. He also mentioned plans to expand the arrangement in the future. Speaking about the gifts, Nafis said,

“InshaAllah, we will make this even bigger in the future. I think this creates a bond, which is very important between the players and the BCB. The gifts that were given are things they could easily buy themselves. But seeing the happiness when they receive a gift brings a lot of peace.”
