Tensions Between India and Pakistan, But PSL to Continue As Scheduled
Amid heightened political tensions between India and Pakistan, reports have emerged of mutual attacks from both sides. This has sparked concerns over whether the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) would proceed as planned. However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has dismissed such concerns, confirming that the tournament will continue as scheduled.
The PCB has announced that the remaining matches of the HBL PSL Season 10 will be held as planned. Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators will face off today in Rawalpindi.
The toss is scheduled for 7:30 PM (Pakistan time), with the first ball to be bowled at 8:00 PM.
With today’s match, HBL PSL returns to Rawalpindi, where four matches are set to be played on May 7, 8, 9, and 10. The final group-stage match will then take place in Multan on May 11.
The playoffs will begin with the Qualifier on May 13 in Rawalpindi. Eliminator 1, Eliminator 2, and the Final will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on May 14, 16, and 18 respectively.
