England announce Central Contracts list for 2024-25
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced its central contract list for the 2024-25 season, featuring a total of 29 players. The new list includes five fresh faces, while some regular players have been omitted.
Among the 29 players, seven have been awarded two-year contracts, while 19 players have received one-year contracts. Additionally, three players are on development contracts.
The two-year contract list includes key players such as Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes, Gus Atkinson, Harry Brook, Jamie Smith, Mark Wood, and Joe Root. The new faces in the central contract include Jamie Smith, Will Jacks, Shoaib Bashir, Phil Salt, and Olly Stone.
Several notable players have been left out of the central contract list, including Moeen Ali, James Anderson, Ben Foakes, Dawid Malan, Ollie Robinson, Matthew Fisher, and Saqib Mahmood. Among them, James Anderson, Moeen Ali, and Dawid Malan have recently retired from international cricket.

One-Year Contracts:
Rehan Ahmed, Jofra Archer, Jonny Bairstow, Shoaib Bashir, Brydon Carse, Zak Crawley, Sam Curran, Ben Duckett, Will Jacks, Jack Leach, Liam Livingstone, Ollie Pope, Matthew Potts, Adil Rashid, Phil Salt, Olly Stone, Josh Tongue, Reece Topley, and Chris Woakes.
Development Contracts:
Jacob Bethell, Josh Hull, and John Turner.
