Bangla Tigers Acquire Towhid Hridoy from T10 Players Draft

In the eighth edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 League, Shakib Al Hasan will play as the icon player for the Bangla Tigers. The franchise has also signed another Bangladeshi star, Towhid Hridoy, from the players' draft.

Today, the Bangla Tigers franchise acquired the talented Bangladeshi batter Towhid Hridoy from the T10 players' draft. Hridoy, who recently showcased his skills in the Lanka Premier League, will be participating in the Abu Dhabi T10 for the first time.

Shakib Al Hasan is the icon player for Bangla Tigers, and if everything goes as planned, he will be seen leading the team with the armband. Alongside Shakib and Hridoy, the team will feature notable players like Rashid Khan, Dinesh Karthik, Iftekhar Ahmed, and Dasun Shanaka.

Earlier in the day, two other Bangladeshis also secured spots in the T10 League: Shahidul Islam and Ziaur Rahman will be playing for the Northern Warriors.

The eighth edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 League will commence on November 21 and continue until December 2. The Bangla Tigers, despite participating in this tournament five times, have yet to clinch the championship. This year, all matches will take place at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
