Special celebration by Shaheen Shah Afridi for his newborn son

Pakistani pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi has become a father. As the first Test between Bangladesh and Pakistan continues on the fourth day in Rawalpindi, Shaheen was struggling to take a wicket. However, after Hasan Mahmud was dismissed with an outside edge caught by Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen finally claimed his first wicket. He celebrated the wicket by dedicating it to his newly born child.

On Saturday, while the match was ongoing, Shaheen Shah Afridi and his wife Ansha Afridi welcomed their baby boy. The child has been named Ali Yar Shaheen Afridi. The family announced the birth of their son on social media.

In the first innings against Bangladesh, Shaheen Shah Afridi bowled 30 overs, conceding 88 runs and taking 2 wickets. His victims were Hasan Mahmud and Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh scored a mammoth 565 runs in their first innings, taking a 117-run lead. Mushfiqur Rahim played a magnificent innings of 191 runs, and Sadman Islam contributed with an impressive 93 runs. Pakistan has now begun their second innings.
