Bangladesh Eyes ODI Series Against Afghanistan in November
Bangladesh is gearing up for a three-match ODI series against Afghanistan in November, as confirmed by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). This series is part of their preparations before traveling to the West Indies, where they will play two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20 matches from November to December.
BCB officials have stated that they are focusing on the Afghanistan series prior to their West Indies tour. As part of their preparation for the ICC Champions Trophy, Bangladesh has yet to finalize other 50-over format matches with different countries, but discussions are ongoing with the Afghanistan Cricket Board.
BCB President Faruk Ahmed mentioned on Thursday, September 27, that they are targeting the ODI series against Afghanistan, viewing it as a crucial step in their Champions Trophy preparations.
Both cricket boards are in continuous communication regarding the ODI series, and if an agreement is reached, the matches will be held in the United Arab Emirates in November.
