BCB Announces Changes in West Indies Series Schedule
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has made changes to the schedule of the upcoming One Day International (ODI) and T20I series against the West Indies. After discussions with Cricket West Indies (CWI), the board decided to restructure parts of the schedule, a BCB press release stated on Tuesday (October 7). However, the board did not specify the exact reason for the changes.
According to the original schedule, the three ODIs were set to be played on October 18, 20, and 23. In the revised schedule, the second ODI has been postponed by one day and will now take place on October 21.
The T20I series has also seen changes in two of its matches. The first and second T20Is were initially scheduled for October 26 and 28, respectively. According to the new schedule, these matches will now be played on October 27 and 29. The third and final T20I will still take place on October 31 as planned.
All three ODIs will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka, while the three T20Is will take place at the Bir Sreshtho Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram.
The West Indies team is set to arrive in Bangladesh on October 15 and will return home on November 1 after completing the series.
