Rubel to Be Honoured in Mirpur After Announcing International Retirement
Experienced pacer Rubel Hossain has brought an end to his 12-year journey with the Bangladesh national team, recently announcing his retirement from international cricket.
He will be honoured at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur ahead of the second ODI against New Zealand tomorrow. The Bangladesh Cricket Board has arranged this in recognition of his significant contributions to the country’s cricket.
Rubel Hossain claimed a total of 193 wickets in his international career. His bowling delivered success for Bangladesh in many crucial moments, making him a key figure in the pace attack over the years.
While his retirement marks the end of an era for the national side, Rubel’s contributions will remain memorable in Bangladesh cricket.
