Two Expatriate Bangladeshi Cricketers Tour Sri Lanka with Qatar National Team
Two Bangladeshi expatriate cricketers have travelled to Sri Lanka with the Qatar national cricket team to take part in a bilateral series against the Sri Lanka ‘A’ (Emerging) team. The series is not an official full international competition but a bilateral contest between the two sides.
The two cricketers are Mohammad Faisal Hossain from Lakshmipur District and Mohammad Makbul Ahmed from Chandpur District.
They earned their places in the Qatar national team after consistently impressive performances for Titans Cricket Club in Qatar’s domestic cricket circuit. They are now representing Qatar on the team’s tour of Sri Lanka.
Their inclusion in the Qatar national team is a source of pride for the Bangladeshi community living in Qatar and a moment of joy for cricket fans in Bangladesh. Best wishes to both players for a successful and memorable tour of Sri Lanka.
