The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced that tickets for the upcoming T20I series between Bangladesh and Pakistan will be sold entirely online. Ticket sales will begin on 15 July via the official website: www.gobcbticket.com.bd.
BCB Director Mahbub Anam confirmed that fans will not need to carry a printed copy of the ticket; showing the e-ticket on a mobile device at the gate will be sufficient for entry. He also clarified that no tickets will be sold through bank branches, a departure from previous practice, as part of a fully digital ticketing process.
Although BCB has a three-year agreement with Madhumati Bank PLC, the board has opted to avoid in-person bank sales for this series due to past logistical issues.
However, on match days, if any tickets remain unsold, they may be made available at designated booths outside the stadium. Further details regarding this will be communicated through BCB’s digital platforms.
Ticket prices for the series are as follows:
Eastern Gallery: Tk 300
Shaheed Abu Sayeed Stand & Northern Gallery: Tk 400
Club House: Tk 800
International Gallery: Tk 1,500
Grand Stand: Tk 2,500
International Lounge: Tk 3,500
As a tribute to the historic July Movement of 2024, BCB will also distribute 100 complimentary tickets from Block 36 of the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium to individuals injured during the movement.
The three-match T20I series will take place at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on 20, 22, and 24 July.
