Rashid Khan Tops ESPNcricinfo’s List of the 25 Greatest T20 Cricketers of All Time
T20 cricket has become the most popular format of the game, not just for its entertainment value but also for its massive commercial success. Over the past decade, this shortest format has revolutionized the sport, with franchise leagues around the world offering lucrative opportunities to players and non-stop excitement for fans. Many cricketers now even prefer playing in these leagues over representing their national teams.
In this context, ESPNcricinfo, a leading cricket website, has released its list of the Top 25 Greatest T20 Cricketers of All Time. The most surprising and headline-grabbing pick is Afghanistan’s 26-year-old leg-spinner Rashid Khan, who tops the list.
West Indies all-rounder Sunil Narine takes the second spot, followed by South African batting maestro AB de Villiers, who has already retired from all forms of the game.
Disappointingly for Bangladesh fans, no Bangladeshi cricketer made the list, while both India and the West Indies have six representatives each.
