Shami Slams Manjrekar For His IPL 2025 Prediction
Shami Slams Manjrekar For His IPL 2025 Prediction
Mohammad Shami has responded to Sanjay Manjrekar's comments about his IPL price tag. Despite taking 48 wickets in 34 matches for Gujarat Titans, Shami was not retained by the franchise, which means he will be up for auction in the IPL 2025 mega auction.
The star Indian pacer, Mohammad Shami, criticized former Indian middle-order batter Sanjay Manjrekar on Instagram on Thursday (November 21) for his prediction. Manjrekar had stated that Shami would see a reduction in his price tag in the upcoming IPL 2025 mega auction due to his recent fitness struggles.
Shami had taken 24 wickets in seven matches during the 2023 ODI World Cup, but he has only played one first-class match in the past year. Due to injury issues, the 34-year-old pacer missed IPL 2024 and the 2024 T20 World Cup. He was also not included in India's 18-member squad for the upcoming five-match Test series against Australia.
