BCB Allows Fans to Bring Food and Water into Stadium Ahead of Pakistan Series
Just ahead of the T20I series against Pakistan, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has shared some welcome news for fans. For the upcoming matches, spectators will be allowed to bring food and water into the stadium, subject to certain conditions.
Bangladesh is set to face Pakistan in a three-match T20I series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, with matches starting at 6 PM. In an official statement, BCB announced:
"Food and beverages from outside will be permitted, but security personnel reserve the right to inspect all items. Entry will be allowed only if the items pass inspection. Additionally, fans are requested to help maintain stadium cleanliness."
This is a major relief for general spectators, who have previously faced inconvenience due to strict policies barring food and water inside the venue. Fans often had to purchase items at high prices once inside the stadium.
Following a T20I series win against Sri Lanka, Bangladesh now prepares to face Pakistan at home. With Liton Das leading the side, the Tigers will have a golden opportunity to secure their first-ever T20I series win against Pakistan.
