BCB Offers Free Entry for Test Match, North and South Galleries at Mirpur Open to Spectators
Cricket fans will have a unique opportunity to watch the opening Test of the upcoming two-match series between Bangladesh and West Indies live from the stands for free. Spectators will be able to enter designated galleries at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur without purchasing tickets.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed the matter in a statement on Tuesday. According to the announcement, spectators will be allowed to enter the North and South galleries at the Mirpur Stadium without tickets throughout all five days of the first Test, scheduled to take place from October 28 to November 1, 2026. The special initiative aims to encourage cricket enthusiasts to come to the stadium and enjoy the action live.
However, the BCB clarified that the free-entry facility will apply only to the North and South galleries. Tickets will be required for the Grand Stand, Shaheed Jewel Stand, Shaheed Mushtaque Stand, and other VIP and hospitality boxes, with the existing rules and regulations remaining in effect.
