BPL 2025: Durbar Rajshahi
Under a new franchise, Durbar Rajshahi has acquired 12 players from the players' draft for this year's BPL. Previously, they signed Enamul Haque Bijoy through a direct contract. Initially, there were plans to bring in Jishan Alam as a direct signing, but surprising everyone, they acquired him from the draft for 2 million BDT.
This time, Durbar Rajshahi has assembled what can be considered the weakest team in the BPL so far. The 13-member Rajshahi squad has been described as relatively "weak." The two foreign players signed from the draft are Pakistan's Sad Nasim and Sri Lanka's Lahiru Samarakoon.
Among the players acquired from the draft, the standout name is Taskin Ahmed. Currently, he is the only player from the Bangladesh national team in the Rajshahi squad. However, alongside him is the young aggressive batter Jishan Alam, who is also joined by Under-19 World Cup-winning captain Akbar Ali.
The team will also feature Shafiul Islam and Sanjamul Islam, along with Yasir Ali Chowdhury Rabbir.
Durbar Rajshahi Squad:

Foreign Players: Sad Nasim (Pakistan), Lahiru Samarakoon (Sri Lanka).
