At the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, Noakhali Express defeated Dhaka Capitals by 41 runs. Winning the toss, Noakhali chose to bat and scored 184/7 in 20 overs.
The hero of Noakhali’s victory was Hassan Eisakhil, who scored 92 runs off just 60 balls. He was well supported by Soumya Sarkar, who added 48 runs off 25 balls. Additionally, Mohammad Nabi contributed 17 runs, while no other batsman reached double digits.
Noakhali finished with 7 wickets down for 184 runs. For Dhaka Capitals, Abdullah Al Mamun, Taijul Islam, and Mohammad Saifuddin took 2 wickets each.
Chasing the target, Dhaka Capitals got off to a poor start. Opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 11 runs off 10 balls. The team gradually came under pressure. Captain Mohammad Mithun scored 33 runs off 31 balls, but no other batsman could provide adequate support. Shamim Patowary added 29 runs.
Towards the end, Mohammad Saifuddin scored 34 runs off 20 balls, but it was not enough. Dhaka eventually finished at 143/7, losing to Noakhali by 41 runs. For Noakhali, Hasan Mahmud and Mohammad Nabi took 2 wickets each.
