Saifuddin's comeback - Tanzid Tamim's debut

Bangladesh is set to begin its series against Zimbabwe with the first T20 match this evening at 6 PM. The match will see the return of Mohammad Saifuddin and the debut of Tanjid Hasan Tamim. The lineup is keenly anticipated with these inclusions.

Opening batsman Liton Das will be partnered by the left-handed Tanjid Hasan Tamim. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto will follow at number three, with positions four to six taken by Towhid Hridoy, Mahmudullah Riyad, and Zakir Ali Anik respectively.

In the absence of Shakib Al Hasan, who is not part of the Chittagong leg of the series, the spin attack will be led by Sheikh Mehedi Hasan, accompanied by leg-spinner Rishad Hossain. The pace attack will be headed by Taskin Ahmed, with Mohammad Saifuddin and Shariful Islam completing the bowling setup.

Tanjid Hasan Tamim is the only uncapped player in the squad for this match against Zimbabwe. All-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin has been recalled to the national team after 18 months.

The match will take place at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. Some squad members like Tanzim Hasan Shakib, Parvez Hossain Emon, Tanvir Islam, and Afif Hossain Dhruv may have to watch the match from the dressing room.
