Walton Unveils Argentina Fan Jersey in Bangladesh for the First Time

After becoming the official regional sponsor of the world champion Argentina national football team, Walton has unveiled the Argentina fan jersey in Bangladesh for the first time. The company announced the launch of the jersey in the local market ahead of the 2026 FIFA Football World Cup.

Walton officially partnered with the Argentina national football team by signing an agreement with the Argentine Football Association (AFA). As part of this collaboration, customers and well-wishers of the company across the country will be able to collect the Argentina fan jersey.

The ‘Argentina Fan Jersey Unveiling’ ceremony was held on Monday (February 23) at Walton’s corporate office in the capital. The Ambassador of Argentina to Bangladesh, Marcelo Carlos César, attended the event as the chief guest. Also present were Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC Chairman S M Shamsul Alam, Managing Director S M Mahbubul Alam, and Director Sabiha Zarin Orna.

In his speech, Ambassador Marcelo Carlos César highly praised Walton. He said that Walton is a leading Bangladeshi multinational electronics company that exports its products to more than 50 countries worldwide. By building a strong foundation in local manufacturing and continuously expanding into international markets, Walton has become a symbol of Bangladesh’s capability and confidence.

Speakers at the event expressed hope that the fan jersey would receive a strong response from the large number of Argentina supporters in Bangladesh. They also expected that this initiative would further strengthen sports and commercial relations between Bangladesh and Argentina.
