The announcement of squads for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 has been made by 17 out of 20 teams, but Bangladesh has not yet announced its squad.
Former opener for Bangladesh and current popular commentator Athar Ali Khan has presented his preferred squad. In place of 15-member squad, he has included 16 members. He has kept Hasan Mahmud as the 16th member.
In the standby list, he has included Mohammad Naim Sheikh, Parvez Hossain Emon, and Nurul Hasan Sohan.
