The players' draft for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is underway today (January 13), and following Nahid Rana’s selection in the Gold Category, Litton Das and Rishad Hossain have also secured teams from the Silver Category.
Litton Das was picked by Karachi Kings, while Rishad Hossain found a spot in Lahore Qalandars, both from the Silver Category.
Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi included Nahid Rana from the Gold Category, referring to him as the "Speed Star from Bangladesh, Nahid Rana."
However, several prominent Bangladeshi players remained undrafted. Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman, listed in the Platinum Category, did not find teams. Similarly, players in the Diamond Category like Hasan Mahmud, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Taskin Ahmed, and Towhid Hridoy went unsold.
Other Bangladeshi players listed in the Gold Category included Mehidy Hasan, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mukhtar Ali, Mosaddek Hossain, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Parvez Hossain Emon, Ripon Mondal, Soumya Sarkar, and Taijul Islam. However, Nahid Rana remains the only Bangladeshi player selected from this category.
