Bangladesh Announce Squad for First Two T20Is Against Ireland
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the squad for the first two matches of the upcoming three-match T20I series against Ireland. All matches of the series will be held at the Birshreshtha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram.
The fixtures are scheduled for 27 November, 29 November, and 2 December.
Two Changes from the West Indies Series
Two players have been dropped from the squad that faced the West Indies recently—
Pacer Taskin Ahmed, and Batter Shamim Hossain Patwary.
Replacing them in the 15-member squad are:
All-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin, and 26-year-old wicketkeeper-batter Mahidul Islam Bhuiyan Ankon.
While Saifuddin has previous T20I experience, Ankon is yet to make his international T20 debut.
Litton to Lead, Saif Named Vice-Captain
The squad will be led by Litton Das, with Saif Hassan serving as vice-captain.
