Schedule announced for Bangladesh-New Zealand series
Bangladesh is once again preparing for a new chapter of international cricket. This time the Tigers will face New Zealand at home, as the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has officially announced the full schedule for the upcoming tour.
According to the announced itinerary, the New Zealand team will arrive in Dhaka on April 13. The touring side will get three days to adapt to the local conditions. The first ODI of the series will then be played on April 17 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
The second ODI will also take place at the same venue on April 20. After that, both teams will travel to Chattogram for the final match of the ODI series. The third and last ODI will be held on April 23 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
Following the ODI series, the teams will move into the T20I phase. This part of the tour carries special significance for Bangladesh, as the Tigers will play their first T20I match since boycotting the World Cup.
The first two matches of the T20I series will be held in Chattogram. The teams will face each other in the first and second matches on April 27 and April 29 respectively. They will then return to Dhaka for the final game, which will take place on May 2 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, marking the conclusion of the New Zealand tour.
Each match of the ODI series will begin at 2:00 PM local time. Meanwhile, the T20I matches will be played under floodlights, starting at 6:00 PM.
