Bangladesh began their Asia Cup Super Four campaign with confidence after defeating Sri Lanka. Following that victory, all eyes are now on the upcoming clash against India. Tomorrow, Shakib, Mushfiq, Liton, and the Tigers will face the mighty Indian side. Can Bangladesh pull off another big upset?

Former Bangladesh captain Mohammad Ashraful believes they can. According to him, if the Tigers give their absolute best, beating India is not impossible. Speaking to the media on Monday, Ashraful said, "We had beaten India in a T20 on their home soil. If the day belongs to us, and if everyone can give their everything and play at their best, then beating India is very much possible."

Before the crucial India match, Ashraful found inspiration in Oman’s performance. Despite India’s strong bowling attack, Oman’s fearless batting gave him hope. He explained, "When we reached the Super Four and before our match, I thought after watching Oman’s batting against India that we also have a chance to do well here."

There could be two changes in Bangladesh’s playing XI against India. Rishad Hossain and Tanzim Sakib might return. Ashraful said, "I think against India we might bring in Rishad, considering his leg spin. Since all of India’s batters are very aggressive, a wrist-spinner has the potential to do well. Another option could be Tanzim Sakib. These two changes are possible."

Ashraful is also optimistic about Bangladesh’s recent form. He praised the Tigers’ performance, especially the bowlers, in the Sri Lanka match. In his words, "I think we played excellent cricket against Sri Lanka. Mustafizur and Sheikh Mehdi bowled superbly, Taskin was very good too. Even though Shoriful was a bit expensive, he bowled well."

Bangladesh have already proven they can perform under pressure. With confidence from their win over Sri Lanka, they now turn their focus to India. The challenge will be tough, but like Ashraful, many believe if the day goes Bangladesh’s way, the Tigers are capable of beating India.
