Bangladesh bowlers Taskin Ahmed and Mahedi Hasan have been rewarded for their outstanding performances in the three-match T20 series against the West Indies. Both have seen significant improvements in the ICC T20I bowling rankings.
Following his impressive performance in the series, West Indies' spinner Akil Hosein has climbed to the top of the T20I bowling rankings, achieving the No. 1 spot for the first time in his career.
Among the Bangladesh bowlers, Taskin Ahmed holds the highest ranking. With 608 rating points, Taskin has moved up three places to 18th, marking his career-best ranking. During the series, Taskin claimed a total of 7 wickets across the three matches.
Mahedi Hasan has made a massive leap in the rankings, moving up 18 spots to 23rd. Mahedi was the most impactful bowler against the West Indies in the series, taking 8 wickets in three matches.
While Rishad Hossain did not see any improvement, pace bowler Hasan Mahmud made a notable rise, advancing 38 places to 48th with a rating of 506.
