India's T20 Squad Announced for Zimbabwe Series; Shubman Gill Named Captain
India has announced a 15-member squad for the five-match T20 series against Zimbabwe, starting on July 6. Shubman Gill has been named captain for the series.
Only Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson from the T20 World Cup squad have been included in this series. The rest of the squad features players from the reserves and IPL standouts.
Shubman Gill, Rinku Singh, Avesh Khan, and Khaleel Ahmed, who were on the reserve list, have been included in the squad. Outstanding performers from IPL 2024 like Abhishek Sharma, Nitish Reddy, Riyan Parag, and Tushar Deshpande have also been given opportunities.
