Bangladesh announce awards of new central contracts. Most of the players who featured at the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 are included on the list. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have announced that 22 players have received national playing contracts for 2025. Most of those included also competed at the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
All-rounder Mahmud Ullah has requested the BCB Cricket Operations to not consider him in the National Players’ Contract after February 2025. As such, he will not be a part of the contract from March 2025.
Former captain Mushfiqur Rahim had announced his retirement from ODIs on 5 March 2025. He will be placed in Grade B from March 2025 onwards.
The other omission is wicketkeeper Parvez Hossain Emon, who did not play during the tournament.
