Tamim Iqbal's Health Improving, Returns Home After Hospital Treatment
Tamim Iqbal's health is improving. He has returned home today after being discharged from the hospital. He was moved to his residence based on the hospital’s decision. To ensure advanced treatment, Tamim may be taken abroad soon.
Last Monday, Tamim suffered a heart attack before a Premier League match at the BKSP. He underwent a procedure to have a stent placed in his heart at the nearest KPJ Hospital. However, before the 48-hour observation period could be completed, he was transferred to Dhaka’s Evercare Hospital from the specialized KPJ Hospital.
After two days of treatment at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka, Tamim returned home this Friday afternoon. In the past few days, many cricket officials have visited him at both KPJ in Savar and Evercare Hospital in the capital to check on his condition.
He is now in much better health. However, doctors have stated that it will take about three more months for Tamim to return to normal life. He may be taken abroad for advanced treatment.
