BCB Set to Appoint IMG as Sports Marketing Consultancy Firm for BPL
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is preparing to appoint New York-based event company International Management Group (IMG) as the sports marketing consultancy firm for the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20 tournament.
A BCB director confirmed the development to Cricket97, stating that the board is working toward a long-term partnership with IMG, which boasts around 13 years of experience in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The BCB intends to sign a long-term agreement with the company.
With a proven track record in managing the world’s biggest franchise tournament, the IPL, IMG has emerged as the frontrunner among three companies shortlisted by the BCB. Board officials have requested some additional details from IMG, and the final decision is expected within the next couple of days.
