BCB to Nominate Representatives to ICC and IBC Boards After Election Process
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced that it will nominate its representatives to the ICC Board and the ICC Business Corporation (IBC) Board only after the completion of its election process. The BCB elections are scheduled to conclude on 7 June.
In a media release issued on Sunday, the board stated that an ICC delegation is expected to visit Bangladesh in the coming days. During the visit, the delegation is likely to meet with various stakeholders involved in the election process and gather relevant information.
According to the BCB, the delegation will present its observations and findings to the ICC Board following the visit.
There has been considerable discussion in recent weeks regarding Bangladesh’s representation on the ICC and IBC Boards. The country’s cricket governing body issued this statement to clarify its position on the matter.
