Bangladesh will face India in a World Cup warm-up match tomorrow. Najmul Hossain Shanto’s team has been practicing intensely ahead of the match in New York. However, the Indian team, including Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, have expressed dissatisfaction, citing issues ranging from practice pitches to food.
Bangladesh couldn't play their first warm-up match against the USA in Dallas due to rain. Therefore, the second match against India is crucial for them. Rohit and his team are reportedly unhappy with the practice arrangements.
The Indian team will play their only warm-up match against Bangladesh tomorrow, June 1, before the World Cup begins. The match will take place at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. However, Kohli might not be seen in this match.
Rohit Sharma and his team have voiced their dissatisfaction with the training facilities in the USA. The Indian team management has complained about having to practice with substandard equipment. Several media outlets have reported that the team is also unhappy with the practice grounds.
The 2024 ICC T20 World Cup will begin on June 2. India’s first match in the tournament will be against Ireland on June 5. They will then face Pakistan on June 9, followed by matches against the USA on June 12 and Canada on June 15.
