The much-anticipated Test series between Bangladesh and Ireland is set to begin on November 11 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. With the lush green backdrop of Sylhet, the venue has already taken on a festive atmosphere as fans eagerly await the Tigers’ return to red-ball cricket.

The Bangladesh team began their preparations on Saturday ahead of the opening Test. Among the squad is veteran batter Mushfiqur Rahim, who is on the verge of playing his 100th Test match. During training, Mohammad Ashraful was seen working in his new role as the national team’s batting coach, guiding the players in the nets. Former selector Abdur Razzak has also rejoined the side, taking on the new responsibility of Team Director. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced ticket prices for the Test match, offering a range of affordable options for fans. Tickets have been divided into five categories — Green Hill Area and Shaheed Turab Stand tickets are priced at Tk 50, Shaheed Abu Sayeed Stand at Tk 100, Club House at Tk 250, and Grand Stand at Tk 500. This means cricket fans can enjoy the Test match experience from as little as Tk 50.
