Following his impressive performance with the bat in the recently concluded Pakistan-Bangladesh T20I series, Tanzid Hasan Tamim has moved up 28 spots in the ICC T20I batters’ rankings and now sits at number 53. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s emerging batter Mohammad Haris has jumped a massive 210 positions to reach the 30th spot in the latest rankings.
Haris played a blistering knock of 107 runs off just 46 balls in the third and final T20I of the series. He finished as the highest run-scorer in the series, amassing 167 runs at a staggering strike rate of 201.12.
Alongside Haris, several other Pakistani players have also seen improvements in the rankings. Hasan Nawaz, who scored 121 runs in the series, has risen 57 places to reach 45th in the batters’ chart. Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha has also gained 42 spots.
There have been notable changes in the bowlers’ rankings as well. Abbas Afridi moved up 18 spots to reach 19th after taking 2 wickets for 26 runs in the third match. He now shares the position with Haris Rauf and South Africa’s Anrich Nortje.
In the all-rounders’ rankings, Shadab Khan has jumped 10 places to claim the 14th spot, thanks to his all-round performance—scoring 55 runs and taking 4 wickets in the series. Pakistan’s dominant series win and the players' individual achievements have significantly strengthened their international standing.
