BCB withdraws NOCs of Mustafizur and Nahid Rana
Following the third ODI against New Zealand, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has provided an update on national team pacers Mustafizur Rahman and Nahid Rana.
In a press release, the BCB stated that Mustafizur Rahman’s condition has been reviewed based on the advice of the team’s medical staff. He will undergo an immediate scan, after which a course of treatment and rehabilitation will begin under the supervision of the BCB Medical Team.
Under these circumstances, the BCB has withdrawn the previously issued No Objection Certificate (NOC) for Mustafizur. As a result, he will not be able to participate in the remainder of the PSL.
On the other hand, young pacer Nahid Rana will also not be granted clearance to play in the PSL. This decision has been taken to allow him adequate time to prepare for the upcoming Test series against Pakistan next month.
The BCB has taken these decisions prioritizing players’ fitness and preparation ahead of the important Test series.
