BCB Allows Nahid Rana to Play in PSL Final
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has reconsidered its earlier decision regarding the No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued to fast bowler Nahid Rana for participation in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) T20.
Following a review, the board has decided to grant him permission to represent his franchise in the tournament final scheduled for 3 May.
According to the BCB, the decision was made considering the importance of playing in the final of a major global franchise tournament, which is seen as beneficial for the player’s development. At the same time, the team management and medical department have confirmed that his participation in the match will not have any negative impact on his fitness, workload management, or future commitments with the national team.
Meanwhile, the BCB has stated that Nahid Rana will remain in contention for selection for the first Test against Pakistan, set to begin in Dhaka on 8 May.
