Physical Performance Assessment for the Tigers
In the series against Zimbabwe at home, away series in the United States of America, and the T20 World Cup in the United States of America and the West Indies, the fitness of Tiger cricketers is crucial amidst the cricket hustle. At such times, maintaining the fitness of cricketers is essential.
In consideration of the national team, those who are or could be part of it, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has arranged sprints and time trials early in the morning to assess their fitness.
Tomorrow morning (April 20), from 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM, the national team's physical performance assessment will take place at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. Star cricketers of the national team are expected to be present.
Sprints - The main purpose of sprinting is to test speed. It will be observed how quickly cricketers can cover a certain distance.
Time Trials - In time trials, everyone in the team participates in a competition, not against each other, but against the clock. It will be seen who can cover a certain distance in the shortest time possible.
