After clinching a T20I series victory in Sri Lanka, Liton Das' Bangladesh team now shift focus to securing another series win—this time on home soil. In the second T20I against Pakistan, Bangladesh will bat first after losing the toss, but this time, they’ve made two changes to their playing XI.
The match begins at 6:00 PM at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
Bangladesh dominated the first match of the series, cruising to a 7-wicket victory, and now have a prime opportunity to seal the series with one game to spare. The Tigers will also be seeking revenge for their last encounter with Pakistan, when they were swept 3-0 in Lahore in May-June.
Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha won the toss and chose to bowl, sending Bangladesh into bat first.
Unlike the opening match, Bangladesh have not stuck to their winning combination, making two changes to the lineup. Naim Sheikh replaces Tanzid Hasan Tamim at the top of the order, while Shariful Islam comes in for pacer Taskin Ahmed.
Bangladesh XI: Bangladesh XI: 1 Parvez Hossain Emon, 2 Naim Sheikh, 3 Litton Das (capt & wk), 4 Towhid Hridoy, 5 Shamim Hossain, 6 Jaker Ali, 7 Mahedi Hasan, 8 Rishad Hossain, 9 Tanzim Hasan, 10 Shoriful Islam, 11 Mustafizur Rahman
Pakistan XI: 1 Fakhar Zaman, 2 Saim Ayub, 3 Mohammad Haris (wk), 4 Hasan Nawaz, 5 Salman Agha (capt), 6 Mohammad Nawaz, 7 Khushdil Shah, 8 Faheem Ashraf, 9 Abbas Afridi, 10 Salman Mirza, 11 Ahmed Daniyal
