Tamim-Mushfiq among 500 overseas players registered for the LPL 2024
More than 500 cricketers have expressed interest in playing in the Lankan Premier League (LPL) 2024. This information was revealed today through a press release by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC).
Players from twenty-four cricket playing nations from have shown interest in playing in the LPL. Five franchises will select cricketers from the auction.
Among the interested cricketers Star cricketers are Tamim Iqbal, Tim Southee, Rassie van der Dussen, Jimmy Neesham, Mushfiqur Rahim, Reza Hendricks, Riley Rossouw, Shai Hope, Taskin Ahmed, Lungi Ngidi, Nasim Shah, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Colin Munro, Ish Sodhi, Mark Chapman, Jason Behrendorff, Andre Fletcher, Oshane Thomas, Kemo Paul, and Fabian Allen.
Additionally, Usman Khawaja, Tabraiz Shamsi, Evin Lewis, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Noor Ahmed, Reece Topley, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Nawaz, Gulbadin Naib, and Ibrahim Zadran have also shown interest.
Notable players from Bangladesh include Mushfiqur Rahim, Tamim Iqbal, Najmul Hossain Shanto, and Taskin Ahmed.
The fifth edition of the LPL will be held from July 1 to 21. The details of the auction will be announced soon by the LPL organizers.
